Our animal protection activities

The employees of Szent Bernát are committed to the cause of animal protection.

The main custodian of this is:

Pro Canibus Animal Protection Foundation

which was established by Dr. Tamás Zöldi in 2000.

The primary goal of the Foundation is to support the medical treatment of homeless and stray animals.

During the clinic’s almost 20 years of operation, we treated many injured and homeless animals and sent them to new owners.

This activity requires a high degree of dedication and empathy from the professionals who deal with them and also uses significant financial resources. After all, the operation and aftercare of a dog or cat that has been hit and suffered fractures consumes a considerable amount of money.

This activity would not be possible if we did not receive financial support from voluntary donations and offerings.

Please support the cause of animal protection, the recovery of stray animals, and the activities of the Pro Canibus Foundation!

I found a dog that had been hit, and after a lot of phone calls, it was the first (!!!) place where they told me to take it, they would examine it, and treat it. Veterinarians, animal hospitals, and clinics said blindly that the young animal must be euthanized because it is not worth treating if it has a fracture. I consider the extraordinary attitude, helpfulness and humanity of the people working at the St. Bernard ambulance to be unique, I am glad that I found them and it is reassuring to know that they all want to do something, help and heal.

Almost from the beginning, we turn to the Szent Bernát Pet Ambulance for help if we have any problems with our four-legged family members or if we only need the annual vaccinations. We are maximally satisfied with the kindness, expertise, equipment, and attitude. We see that sick, injured and homeless animals are cured and help find owners for them. For many years, I have also given 1% of my tax to the Pro Canibus Foundation they run, helping their work. I know and see that it will be put in the right place and that it will be put to good use. I can only recommend them!!

I have been going to the Szent Bernát team since the clinic opened, mostly with my dogs adopted from shelters. They always dealt with my animals with great competence, I could trust the colleagues working there both personally and professionally.
