A thorough physical examination always begins with measuring the patient’s weight and body temperature. After that, the veterinarian examines the organ systems according to the rules of the profession, with particular emphasis on what is said in the medical history.
If necessary, he decides on the use of additional tests (laboratory, X-ray ultrasound).

If the patient’s condition requires it, the veterinarian can start an infusion or recommend hospitalization.
